On April 28, ENN Natural Gas Co., Ltd. (abbreviation: ENN, stock code: 600803.SH) released the report of the first quarter of 2021.
The report shows that in the first quarter, ENN’s operating income was 25.849 billion CNY, a year-on-year increase of 48%. The net profit attributable to listed company was 603 million CNY, a year-on-year increase of 98.5%, a significant improvement on business achievement. Operating net cash flow remains adequate and stable, with a net value of 485 million CNY.
In the first quarter, the domestic epidemic was effectively controlled, the economic recovery momentum was strong. Superimposed on the increase in winter heating demand, which drove the rapid growth of domestic natural gas consumption. In the first quarter, ENN’s total gas sales volume reached 9.039 billion cubic meters, a year-on-year increase of 32.7%, of which retail gas volume was 6.407 billion cubic meters, a significant year-on-year increase of 30.1%.
ENN focused on the main business of natural gas and sold 40% of the shares of Xinneng Phoenix (TengZhou) Energy Co., Ltd. to further revitalize the company's assets.
In terms of gas installation, the company's newly developed industrial and commercial users opened up 3.76 million cubic meters per day in the first quarter, a year-on-year increase of 46.3%, and newly developed 395,000 household users, a year-on-year increase of 13.5%. These new users will drive the company's continued growth in gas sales.
The company's ubiquitous energy project integrates natural gas and renewable energy to provide customers with steam, cooling, heating, electricity and other energies to improve user energy efficiency, reduce overall energy bills, reduce carbon emissions, and help achieve the "peak carbon emissions & carbon neutrality" goal. In the first quarter, 5 new FanNeng projects were put into operation, accumulatively 124 FanNeng projects were put into operation, and 23 projects are in the construction stage. It successfully reduced customer's consumption of about 397,000 standard coal and 1.265 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions. It promotes energy transformation to improve environmental efficiency.
